I am a big fan of geotagging on Wikipedia, it is no longer a mystery. I found a new way to enjoy the thing. Certainly it is not new and some of you have already noticed, but I will file it anyway. As you already know (or not), Maps Bing, a competitor of Google Maps , has a likeable feature: over some urban places, it is possible to select "Satellite" and "Air" for a vision corner 3D isometric . It's fun and convenient to both: we clearly see the elevations better this way than with a simple aerial.
Now take an item or category that contains elements LBS sufficiently close, in an area covered by this projection. For example, the churches of Venice . Place the {{}} KML above (which extracts contact articles and creates a beautiful KML output) and give it all to eat Bing Maps. Switch to 3D isometric and enjoy the scenery.
